We are with you all the way from pinning the first pinterest board till you are relaxing on the beach on your honeymoon.

What are you dreaming of? Is it the heady scents of Marrakesh, glittering gold chandeliers and stained glassses of an Italian Villa, a Caribbean carnival bursting with colour and music or a romantic Venetian experience? We guide you through every step of the way... if you already know the country, we will advise you through its different regions, breakdown venue suggestions that match your vision and create budget estimates, suggest vendors accordingly. Our clients love how stress-free we make the entire process. We even organise a detailed site visit where we create a production overview, decor mockups, food tastings, meet local vendors if you hired them so you know what to expect before the big day! We oversee the complete delivery of your wedding from scheduling the detailed itinerary, to seamlessly co-ordinating guests, vendors and the entire production- leaving you to be fully present and enjoy the celebration of a lifetime with your guests.

•After an in-depth consultation to understand your desires and vision, we present you different venues and estimated breakdowns for your intended budget.
•We schedule site visits with your top choice venues (usually virtual) and you will finalise your venue.

• On-the-day Coordination and management of the schedule, guests, vendors and overall setup + production.
• AFTR Coordinators dedicated to the couple, vendors and guests/wedding party.
• 3 months Post Wedding Services.
• Planning of adjacent events like traditional day/rehearsal dinner/post wedding brunch/tours & activities for guests/ transport & accomodation logistics can be added at an extra cost.


•Creation of Moodboards, Design and Style development and vendor selections.
• Regular planning meetings (phone, zoom or in-person).
•Ongoing management of all vendors and facilitation of bookings & payments.

I want a destination wedding but not sure of the location yet, can you help us?

Absolutely yes we can, we understand that choosing a destination for your wedding can be an overwhelming decision! Finding the right location, venue and suppliers at an exotic faraway destination is not easy! That's why we are here to help! Here's how I normally assist my clients in selecting the perfect location for your dream wedding.
  1. Consultation: First, we'll start with a consultation to understand your vision, preferences, and priorities for your wedding. We'll discuss your guest list, budget, style, and any cultural or religious requirements you may have.
  2. Research: Based on your consultation, I'll share my established and trusted vendors and present you with a list of potential destinations that match your criteria. I'll take into consideration factors such as climate, accessibility, accommodations, and local vendors.
  3. Site Visits: Once we've narrowed down the list of potential destinations, we'll schedule site visits to the top locations. During these visits, we'll meet with local vendors, scout venues, and get a sense of the overall feel of each location.



For my destination wedding, isn’t it better to hire a local planner instead?

We understand that couples may consider hiring a local planner at their destination. However, there are a million reasons why you should talk to us at AFTR instead of going the local route.
  1. Expertise: Our clients at AFTR are international and discerning and only want the very best. Communicating this to a local planner with little experience outside their region may be challenging! With years of experience in planning luxury destination weddings, AFTR have the knowledge and expertise to handle all aspects of your wedding, no matter where it takes place. We have managed weddings on many continents! A local planner may only understand the local region, mannerisms and needs.
  2. We have a wide network of trusted vendors and suppliers, and we know how to navigate any challenges that may arise during the planning process. With a local planner you'll be restricted to vendors in-country within the local planners circle, but with AFTR, you have a broad range of global vendors at your fingertips. We do this all day everyday!
  3. Communication and Personalised Service: We will be in regular communication with you throughout the planning process, keeping you updated on progress and answering any questions you may have. Language and culture barriers with local planners can be difficult to overcome! We offer a personalised and tailored approach to wedding planning, taking the time to understand your vision, preferences, and priorities for your wedding. We'll work closely with you to create a unique and unforgettable experience that reflects your personality and style.
  4. Everyone on the AFTR team is multilingual, as a whole, we speak 7 different languages.

What about other vendors that are local? Will you help us select them?

Absolutely yes, we will help you source all the local vendors. We'll share our established and trusted vendors and present you with a list of potential vendors that match your vision and budget, it's important to choose vendors who have worked at the location before as they know the ins and out and have a good knowledge of location specific challenges and experience of overcoming them.

Is travel and expenses included in your fees already?

No, travel and expenses aren't included in our planning fees. Ultimately this varies with factors like: where you’re getting married, how many site visits we do, how many of our team members will be on site, adjacent events you have added, etc. For all applicable costs, we’ll always make you aware of this, and is tracked as part of your overall budget.

How many site visits will you do before the wedding?

This is an important question! We tend to do a minimum of 1, ideally 2 visits to the destination prior to your wedding . The initial site visit is to scout the venues, discuss the logistics and layout of the wedding, and check out other venues for the activities hosted over the weekend. It's also an opportunity to meet with local suppliers.

The second trip is really to walk through all the final details, food tasting, design mockup with the local florist, and do a little shopping for some local goodies to include in the welcome baskets – basically to tie up any and all loose ends! The number of trips is not set in stone, though! Depending on the scope and complexity of the wedding, a third trip might be beneficial, however it’s certainly not required.

I want to have a destination wedding but I'm worried about the logistics of making it happen.

At AFTR, we understand why couples are concerned about logistics when planning a destination wedding. These destinations are far from home, you may not speak the local language, and you may not be able to fly in all your preferred and trusted suppliers! However, as luxury wedding planners, we have extensive experience in managing all aspects of destination weddings, including logistics, vendor coordination to travel planning, timeline management and communication. We coordinate and manage all local and overseas resources you need, scheduling multiple zoom calls with them, booking site visits and making sure all aspects of your wedding are well looked after. Hiring an experienced planner like us will mean you won't have to worry about logistics at all.
