This couple were not your conventional couple. They opted for a concept which had never been done in the venue space, flipping what may be considered elegant on its head! This unique approach from the couple inspired creativity from our team and birthed one of our most loved celebrations!
Why did the couple choose this wedding venue ?
Undoubtedly, the gold ornate detailing on the pure white walls of the Mandarin oriental’s main ballroom is reminiscent of the British Victorian era. This aesthetic was enough to seize the attention of the couple! Regarding the decor and production, the combination of deep hued blooms and sultry purple lighting transformed the ballroom into a garden wonderland, incorporating all the lush details of a secret getaway from wild and loose florals to gold mirrored tables and beautiful blue butterflies- all these elements worked together to create that wow-factor the couple wanted (Talk about a butterfly effect!)
More to this , every element from their black and gold glossy dance floor to their wedding cake was an absolute sight for bloom-loving eyes, it all came together so organically. Perhaps it’s the regal feel of the gold event space juxtaposed by the wild beauty of the blooms that made this wedding one to remember for all time or even the vibe of the couple but whatever it is, we want more of it! It was a midsummer fairy tale brought to life!
